Christopher's Grandma and I took him to the Albuquerque Children's Museum.....also know as Explora! It's a really cool place which has lots of hands on experiments and exhibits for kids. Christopher really loved the water table they had. You could insert plastic boards which would change the flow of the water. They had balls which would float on the water so you could watch which way they would go. Christopher liked to throw the balls in the water and then watch where they would end up. The first time we tried to take him away from the table he cried. So we let him play there a little longer.
Then we went to an area which was designed for younger kids. The first thing Christopher decided to play with were some foam blocks. He would take them out of a small cabinet, close the door, and then open it to take out another one. Once the cabinet was empty he would open the door and start filling it up again. He had so much fun playing with that cabinet.
We then moved him to another part of the same area. There was a climbing structure. He would go up and down the steps. He then tried to crawl up the ramp on the other side. The silly baby would almost get to the top and then slide down. After a while he decided to try and walk up the ramp...but that didn't work out for him. He also had fun playing with the air table. You put little balls over the holes which had air blowing out and they would float. Christopher really liked that.
Before we left, we took a GIANT elevator up to see the bubble table. There were lots of little kids playing with really big bubbles and Christopher had lots of fun watching the bubbles.
By the time we got out of the parking lot Christopher was asleep. He had a really fun day.

Cars, Cars, and More Cars!
Knowing how much Christopher loves cars, Charlie and I decided to take him to the freeway overpass. We thought he would like seeing all the different types of cars. We parked the car at the golf course and walked a little ways to get to the overpass. Once we got there I parked the stroller where Christopher could get a good of the cars coming towards him.
At first he was speechless. He just stared at all the cars going by. After a few minutes he finally shouted "CAR!". He couldn't believe how many cars there were! Once he realized that the cars where going in both directions he couldn't decided where to look. All we heard was "CAR! CAR! CAR!" Some of the cars and trucks did honk at us, and Christopher really liked that. We had lots of fun looking at all the cars.

The State Fair
It's state fair time, and this year we got to take Christopher. Charlie and I packed LOTS of food for Christopher, (since he wouldn't be able to eat anything there), and we all hopped in the car. When we got there Christopher was very excited to see all the cars in the parking lot. I'm sure we could have left then and he would have been happy. The first thing we did was to "tag our tot". We left our names and phone number with the police just in case something happened to Christopher. Then we stopped to see some of the animals. Christopher got very excited to see all the "woof woof" s and "moo" s. Then we went to the McDonald Farm and got to harvest lots of different fruits and vegetables. Christopher liked watching all of the people going by. We ate some really good food. We had the best french fries and Christopher could eat them too! We also had an Indian Taco, some funnel cake, and roasted corn. All state fair musts.
We checked out the midway, but didn't ride anything, (Maybe next year when Christopher is bigger). Charlie played a dart game and won Christopher a bear. I played a little kiddie game and won Christopher a frog. Christopher enjoyed watching the model trains they had on display. When Christopher fell asleep, Charlie and I decided to check out the indoor exhibits. We saw some art work and got my ring cleaned for free. Yea! We all had a really great time. Christopher's favorite part was watching all the......yes that's right.......cars driving around.

Sunday Fun
Last Sunday we all went to Christopher's Grandma Mary's house for lunch. Grandma Mary made chicken enchiladas and tacos. Mmmm lots of yummy food. Aunt Vivian brought over a puppy and Christopher was very excited to see a "woof woof". Christopher played with the puppy for about thirty minuets but then became very itchy. We gave him some medicine, wiped his hands and face, and put the puppy out on the balcony.
After the puppy, Christopher decided to play with his ball. He would throw it and go after it. Christopher's uncles played with him as well. Everyone had a really great time.

Ouch!
Poor Christopher fell and hit his head on the door frame as he was walking to his Grandma. It was the first time he hit himself while walking.
