Fun at Explora!

Christopher's Grandma and I took him to the Albuquerque Children's Museum.....also know as Explora! It's a really cool place which has lots of hands on experiments and exhibits for kids. Christopher really loved the water table they had. You could insert plastic boards which would change the flow of the water. They had balls which would float on the water so you could watch which way they would go. Christopher liked to throw the balls in the water and then watch where they would end up. The first time we tried to take him away from the table he cried. So we let him play there a little longer.

Then we went to an area which was designed for younger kids. The first thing Christopher decided to play with were some foam blocks. He would take them out of a small cabinet, close the door, and then open it to take out another one. Once the cabinet was empty he would open the door and start filling it up again. He had so much fun playing with that cabinet.

We then moved him to another part of the same area. There was a climbing structure. He would go up and down the steps. He then tried to crawl up the ramp on the other side. The silly baby would almost get to the top and then slide down. After a while he decided to try and walk up the ramp...but that didn't work out for him. He also had fun playing with the air table. You put little balls over the holes which had air blowing out and they would float. Christopher really liked that.

Before we left, we took a GIANT elevator up to see the bubble table. There were lots of little kids playing with really big bubbles and Christopher had lots of fun watching the bubbles.

By the time we got out of the parking lot Christopher was asleep. He had a really fun day.
